About the Project

Having a clear overview of my finances has always been important to me. I wanted to know where my money was going, where it was coming from, how much was left, and what possibilities it opened up for the future.

After finishing school and starting my first job, I created a simple Excel spreadsheet where I could record everything clearly. At first, it served its purpose well. Over time, however, it was no longer enough. It became impractical, uncomfortable to use, and entering all the records on my computer in the evening started to feel more like a chore than a help.

Thanks to my programming experience, I decided to create my own application. Something simple, clear, and, most importantly, something that would work exactly according to real everyday needs. At first, it was just a quick personal money diary. Gradually, however, it started to grow. New features, improvements, and ideas were added, and what began as a simple tool slowly became a larger project.

Then one question came up: if such a tool already exists, why not make it available to others as well? To people who want a better overview of their money, expenses, and possibilities. That is why user registration and login were added, and the project could finally be released into the world.
