The processing of personal data is governed primarily by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”).

The service is provided to users within the EU and outside the EU.
2. Processed Personal Data
- name and email provided during registration,
- password (stored in hashed form),
- data entered by the user (transactions, accounts, attachments, notes),
- technical data: IP address, device type, error logs, timestamps.
3. Purposes of Processing
- provision and operation of the Finio.live service,
- management of user accounts and licenses,
- ensuring system security,
- technical analysis and troubleshooting,
- fulfillment of the controller’s legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
- performance of a contract (use of the Finio.live service),
- legitimate interest in system security and operation,
- compliance with legal obligations,
- user consent (where required for specific features).
5. Recipients of Personal Data
- server and database hosting providers,
- public authorities – only in cases stipulated by law.
6. Data Retention Period
Personal data are stored for the duration of the user account. After the account is deleted, all data are permanently and irreversibly removed.
7. Security of Personal Data
- passwords are stored exclusively in hashed form,
- communication is secured via the HTTPS protocol,
- attachments and files are stored in non-public storage,
- access to data is limited to the respective user and the administrator.
8. User Rights
- the right of access to personal data,
- the right to rectification of data,
- the right to erasure (where permitted by law),
- the right to restriction of processing,
- the right to data portability,
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the Czech DPA or the relevant authority in the user’s country).
